Having Naashtha’s dosa batter handy at home can save you the trouble of ordering outside food every time you crave something tasty. Whip up this vegetable paneer dosa and let us know how you like it!

Ingredients

  • Dosa batter
  • 1 ½ cups of mixed finely chopped vegetables such as onion, tomato, capsicum, cabbage
  • 1 cup paneer/cottage cheese cubed in equal sizes
  • Seasoning: Salt to taste, a pinch of Garam Masala powder, mixed herbs (optional)
  • Sauces: Tomato sauce and Chilli Garlic Sauce (2 tbsp each)

Method:
For stuffing

  • In a hot pan, add 1 tbsp oil and sauté the vegetables lightly till their raw aroma goes away.
  • Add all spices, seasoning, sauces and give it a good mix.
  • Now add cottage cheese cubes and simmer covered for 2-3 minutes to allow the paneer to soak in the masala.

For Dosa

  • Cut open a pack of Naashtha’s dosa batter and dilute to get a flowy consistency.
  • On a hot tava, pour a generous dollop of batter and spread evenly with the back of the ladle.
  • Drizzle some oil on the sides to avoid the dosa getting stuck to the pan.
  • After a minute, add the stuffing in the center of the dosa, and fold to make a roll.
  • Flip lightly to cook evenly from both sides.
  • Serve hot with chutney or sambhar for a fulfilling meal.
